FAQ

How much is the deposit?

I charge a 20% deposit to secure the date, this is then deducted from the final payment.

How do we pay?

I take payments via bank transfer, the details are all on the invoice that I send to you should you choose to book. Final payment is due 30 days before your wedding date, however should you wish to pay earlier then you are more than welcome to.

How do we book?

If you want to book, please send me a direct message on my social media accounts, or through my enquiry form on my webpage.

Why a wedding video?

With a wedding video, you will have something that you can sit back and watch with your other half for years. Every word spoken, every happy tear and all the laughs, every step you take down the aisle will be recorded and preserved forever.

How far do you travel?

I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK. however travel fees will apply. Travel expenses are £50 for a two hour round trip. £100 for four hours and £175 for a six hour trip. This additional fees covers all fuel, accommodation, and wear and tear costs. Journey time will be based on google maps without traffic conditions.

Do you stay for the whole day?

My Minimum coverage time is 10 hours, which usually gives me plenty of time to film all of you wedding morning, ceremony, drinks reception, first dance and a good chunk of the party. If you feel your day might need some additional hours then I can offer this as an add on. Just let me know and I can work out a custom package for you!

How long until WE get OUR video?

I aim for around 8/12 weeks, depending on the level of coverage that is booked. However some edits can take longer, and during peak season this can increase as well. I will always keep you updated and send a few sneak peaks to you while you wait for your film.

What are our options for Music?

Unfortunately, copyright is a large roadblock in this industry, even if the video itself is not published online. There are options for royalty free music, I have a subscription service with a lot of high quality songs to use. There is also the option of buying the license to a song, which in some cases can be as low as £50. This would be an additional fee and subject to availability.  Regardless I will work with you both to find the perfect pieces of music to complement your story and your day.

What equipment do you use?

I currently have 3 Sony mirrorless cameras, which i like to refer to as small but mighty. They all film on a format that allows me to have complete control over the colour grade of your film, and make all the adjustments I need in post. This allows me to move around freely, and navigate small spaces without anything to bulky weighing me down. For ceremony, speeches recordings I use all three cameras on tripods. I don’t tend to go overboard on equipment, and I like to stay out of the way as possible, so I can capture all of the real moments.

How do you record sound?

Sound recording is something that needs a short discussion. There are lots of options that all depend on the wedding itself. Just like camera set ups, no two audio setups will be the same. I have mics that sit on the camera, Room mics, and the best option for high quality and clear audio, Lapel mics, tiny little mics that can go into a pocket and clip onto your clothing, perfectly hidden, and barely noticeable for the wearer.
